When a parent or spouse starts struggling to get out of a chair, in and out of bed, or across a bathroom floor, families usually start searching for equipment. What they often need first is a person — someone steady, patient, and there at the right hour of the day. That is the kind of help CareBridge Home Services provides in homes across Shelby County and Montgomery.
Mobility support is part of everyday care, not a separate machine
We want to be straight with you about what we do. CareBridge caregivers provide mobility support as part of personal care and travel assistance — a hand to steady someone on the way to the bathroom, help repositioning, support getting ready for a car ride, and help with the walk from the door to the vehicle and back again. We are not a medical equipment company, and specialized lift equipment is not on our service list.
If your loved one has reached the point where transfers are heavy or unsafe, say so when you call. A care coordinator will talk it through honestly with you, explain what our caregivers can and cannot take on, and tell you plainly if a different kind of support is the better fit. Nobody is served by a care plan that quietly ignores how hard the mornings really are.
At CareBridge Homecare Services, we provide personalized in-home support that allows seniors to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they love most—HOME.
Six kinds of help, built around your loved one's day
Most families come to us for one thing and end up using two or three. Here is everything we actually offer:
- Personal & Companion Care — dignified assistance with daily routines, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
- Dementia & Alzheimer's Support — specialized, patient care tailored to cognitive needs, keeping the home environment safe and familiar.
- Respite & Recovery Care — relief for family caregivers, plus structured hospital-to-home recovery support to help prevent readmissions.
- Transportation — hospital to home, home to doctors' appointments, and other care-related trips.
- Cleaning Services — clearing clutter and trip hazards so the house itself stops working against your loved one.
- Travel Buddies — support before, during, and after travel, including personal care and mobility support along the way.
Clearing clutter matters more than people expect. A rug in the wrong place or a hallway stacked with boxes turns an ordinary walk into a fall risk, which is why our cleaning work is framed around safety rather than appearances.
How the first conversation works
There is no charge to find out whether we are a good match for your family. We start with a complimentary, in-home consultation — sitting down in the actual house, looking at the actual bathroom and the actual bedroom, and listening to how the day really goes.
- Submit the form on this page with a little about your situation.
- One of our local care coordinators will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your family's needs.
- We schedule the in-home consultation at a time that works for the whole family.
- Together we build a care plan with the right hours, the right tasks, and the right caregiver.
You are not signing anything at the consultation. Plenty of families use it simply to understand their options before they are ready to decide, and that is a perfectly good reason to reach out.
