In-home support that keeps life at home
CareBridge Home Services is a local, compassionate, dependable in-home care provider working across Central Alabama. Owner Lucinda Jackson built the company around a simple idea: most seniors do not want to move. They want to stay where the coffee pot is in the right cupboard, where the neighbors wave, where the dog sleeps by the same chair. Our job is to make that possible for as long as it safely can be.
At CareBridge Homecare Services, we provide personalized in-home support that allows seniors to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they love most—HOME.
If your family is near Jemison, reach out and we will tell you honestly whether you fall inside our current service area. Our verified coverage is Shelby County — including Alabaster, Calera, Helena and Pelham — and Montgomery, including Prattville and Pike Road. We would rather have a two-minute conversation about geography than leave you guessing.
Six kinds of help, built around your loved one's day
Care is not one thing. Some families need a companion three mornings a week. Others need a steady hand for the first fragile fortnight after a hospital stay. These are the six services we actually provide, and we will only recommend the ones you need.
- Personal & Companion Care — dignified assistance with daily routines, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
- Dementia & Alzheimer's Support — specialized, patient care tailored to cognitive needs, keeping safety and familiarity in the home environment.
- Respite & Recovery Care — relief for family caregivers, plus structured hospital-to-home recovery support aimed at preventing readmissions.
- Transportation — hospital to home, home to doctors' appointments, and other care-related trips.
- Cleaning Services — clearing clutter and trip hazards so the house itself stops working against your loved one.
- Travel Buddies — support before, during and after travel, including personal care and mobility assistance.
Caregivers on our dementia assignments are specifically trained in dementia and Alzheimer's support, so routines stay familiar instead of being rebuilt every shift. That consistency is usually what settles a household down.
How the first visit works
Nobody should commit to a care schedule off a phone call. We start with a complimentary, in-home consultation — we come to the house, meet the person who will be receiving care, look at the stairs and the bathroom and the kitchen, and listen to what the family is already doing to cope.
- Send the form with a little about your situation. One of our local care coordinators will contact you within 24 hours.
- We schedule the free in-home consultation at a time that suits the household, not just the adult child organizing it.
- Together we build a written care plan: which services, which days, which hours, and who to call when something changes.
- Care begins, and we adjust the plan as needs shift — after a fall, after a diagnosis, after a hospital discharge.
Plenty of the families we meet are in the middle of a crisis. Plenty are not, and those are the easiest to help. An aging-at-home plan is a structured, proactive plan that puts companion care, personal assistance and safety checks in place before a crisis occurs. If you are reading this because you have a bad feeling rather than a bad week, that is a good time to talk.
Hours, contact, and where we go
Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, closed Saturday and Sunday. Call (205) 605-4027 or email carebridge2026@gmail.com. Care itself is scheduled around your family's plan — talk to a coordinator about the days and hours you need covered.
