In-home care for Alabaster families
Most people don't want to leave the house they raised a family in. They want help with the parts of the day that have gotten harder — the shower, the stove, the drive to the cardiologist — and they want to keep the rest. That's the whole idea behind CareBridge Home Services. We provide personalized in-home support that allows seniors to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they love most: home.
We're local to this part of Central Alabama, and Alabaster is right in the middle of the area we cover. Caregivers know the roads to Shelby Baptist, know which pharmacy is closest to which neighborhood, and don't need a map to get your mother to a 9 a.m. appointment on time.
Local. Compassionate. Dependable.
Alongside Alabaster, we serve families across Shelby County — including Calera, Helena, and Pelham — and in Montgomery, including Prattville and Pike Road. If you're just outside those lines, reach out anyway and we'll tell you honestly whether we can cover you.
Six kinds of help, built around your loved one's day
Care isn't one thing. Some families need a few hours of companionship a week; others are coming home from the hospital and need structure for a month. These are the six services we offer, and a care plan can combine any of them.
- Personal & Companion Care — dignified assistance with daily routines, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
- Dementia & Alzheimer's Support — specialized, patient care tailored to cognitive needs, keeping the home environment safe and familiar.
- Respite & Recovery Care — relief for family caregivers, plus structured hospital-to-home recovery support aimed at preventing readmissions.
- Transportation — rides home from the hospital, to doctors' appointments, and to other care services.
- Cleaning Services — keeping the home clear of clutter and trip hazards so it stays a safe place to move around.
- Travel Buddies — support before, during, and after a trip, including personal care and mobility assistance along the way.
If you're not sure which of these fits, that's normal. Most families start by describing a typical day — what time Dad gets up, what he struggles with, what he'd rather do himself — and the plan builds itself from there.
What happens after you reach out
Nothing is decided over the phone. We start with a complimentary, in-home consultation so we can see the house, meet the person we'd be caring for, and hear from the family members who've been carrying most of the load. Then we write a customized care plan you can actually read and change.
- Submit the form or call us and tell us the basics.
- One of our local care coordinators contacts you within 24 hours to discuss your family's needs.
- We schedule the free in-home consultation at a time that suits everyone.
- We build the care plan together and set the schedule.
Plenty of families in Alabaster call us in a crisis — after a fall, after a diagnosis, after a hospital discharge nobody saw coming. We'd rather meet you before that. An aging-at-home plan is a structured, proactive plan that puts companion care, personal assistance, and safety checks in place before a crisis occurs, and it makes the hard months far less frantic when they arrive.
