Care that respects a lifetime of service
Many of the seniors we support in Central Alabama are veterans, or the husbands and wives who held things together at home while they served. Some served in a war; some served in peacetime and rarely mention it. What they tend to have in common is a strong preference for doing things themselves, in their own house, on their own schedule — and that is exactly the kind of independence CareBridge Home Services is built to protect.
Our approach is simple. We come to the home, we listen, and we put support in place around the routine that already works instead of rearranging a life that took decades to settle. A caregiver might start with two mornings a week — breakfast, a shower, a ride to the VA clinic or a local appointment — and nothing more. If more help is needed later, we add it. That steady, unhurried pace matters a great deal to people who are used to being the ones others relied on.
To be clear about what we are: CareBridge is a private in-home care company. We provide caregivers, not benefits advice. We do not process paperwork or make promises about what any program will pay, and we will not guess at that on the phone. What we can do is tell you honestly what care your loved one needs, what it looks like week to week, and what it costs.
We provide personalized in-home support that allows seniors to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they love most — HOME. Local. Compassionate. Dependable.
Six kinds of help, built around your loved one's day
Every service below is one we actually staff and deliver. Families usually start with one or two and adjust from there.
- Personal & Companion Care — dignified assistance with daily routines, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, plus real conversation from someone who shows up regularly.
- Dementia & Alzheimer's Support — specialized, patient care tailored to cognitive needs, keeping the home familiar and the day predictable.
- Respite & Recovery Care — relief for a spouse or adult child who has been carrying the load alone, and structured hospital-to-home recovery support aimed at preventing readmissions.
- Transportation — rides home from the hospital, to doctors' appointments, and to other care services, with a caregiver who walks in with them rather than dropping them at the curb.
- Cleaning Services — clearing clutter and trip hazards so the house itself stops working against someone with a cane or a walker.
- Travel Buddies — support before, during, and after a trip, including personal care and mobility assistance, for the reunion or the visit to the grandchildren that would otherwise be skipped.
Because our caregivers are local, they know the drive to the clinic, the pharmacy line, and the church that still saves a seat. That local knowledge is a quiet but real part of good senior home care.
Where we visit, and how the first conversation works
We serve Shelby County — including Alabaster, Calera, Helena, and Pelham — and Montgomery, including Prattville and Pike Road. If you are just outside those areas, ask us anyway; we would rather check than turn you away by guessing.
Start with a complimentary, in-home consultation. A local care coordinator sits down with you and your loved one, looks at the house, asks about mornings and evenings and medications, and builds a customized care plan from what we hear. Submit the form and one of our coordinators will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your family's needs. There is no obligation and no pressure to book anything that day.
Contact CareBridge Home Services: phone (205) 605-4027, email carebridge2026@gmail.com. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM; we are closed Saturday and Sunday.
